Aging and Longevity Lecture Series - Speaker Joel Rothman
UC Santa Barbara Alumni, in partnership with the Center for Aging and Longevity Studies (CALS), is proud to present the Aging and Longevity Lecture Series. Six experts will dive into the latest insights on healthspan extension, age-related disease prevention, and strategies to improve the quality of life for an aging population. Each lecture will highlight a different perspective, including biology, neuroscience, psychology, engineering, and anthropology, offering a well-rounded view of how increased longevity impacts individuals and society.
The first speaker of the series is Joel Rothman, Director and Founder, Center for Aging & Longevity Studies, and Distinguished Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and the Wilcox Family Chair in Biotechnology.
