Aging, Wellbeing, and the Legal Profession Presentation
Nicole Albada helped to empower legal professionals with tools for resilience, mental health, and career-long well-being.
Nicole Albada, CALS Director of Education and Outreach, participated in the Santa Barbara County Bar Association's Well-Being in Law Week, which ran from October 28th to November 1st, hosted by Robin Oaks. The five-day event offered valuable insights and practical tools for legal professionals, including topics like emotional intelligence, managing stress, overcoming procrastination, and more. Dr. Albada's presentation was on day two of the event, and her talk was titled, “Psychological well-Being for legal professionals: What is it and how do we find it?” Her session focused on understanding psychological well-being and how it varies as people age, and she encouraged attendees to speculate about the implications for legal professionals as they move acorss their careers.
