Emily Jacobs represents the Women's Brain Health Initiative in Washington
Dr. Emily Jacobs represents her team at the historic event that will boost focus and interest in women's health
Dr. Emily Jacobs represented the Ann S. Bowers Women's Brain Health Initiative at President Biden's signing of an executive order calling for $12B in funding for women's health research. The executive order also included an immediate release of funds to the NIH and NSF to drive discovery. Maria Shriver, the former First Lady of California who was also at the event, stated that "this may be the first time a President has signed an order with the word menopause in it.” This historic event is likely to bring a new wave of attention for and exploration in women's health. Congratulations, Emily and team!
